Vikki Nulman

Sol Cafe, New Mexcico
Victoria Ann Nulman began her culinary craft as a young girl in Pennsylvania, standing over (actually under) a stove watching her grandmother, mom and aunts cook elaborate family meals. From there, she moved to the Midwest, then New Jersey, before settling in New Mexico with frequent visits to a second home in the Gramercy Park area of New York City.
A prominent regional chef, Vikki received her formal training at The French Culinary Institute in New York and the Cordon Bleu in Paris. She has completed workshops in Italy with such food-world luminaries as Marcella Hazan and Lorenza di Medici.

Chef Vikki is currently the executive chef/owner of Sol Café in Santa Fe, New Mexico, as well as Market Basket Travelers, a small luxury tour company whose thrice-annual trips to Tuscany, Provence and Sonora, Mexico revolve around a cooking school/food market/gourmet dining theme.
Vikki is past President of the American Culinary Federation in Santa Fe and was voted "Chef of the Year' in 2002. Recently the recipient of the New Mexico Heroes Award, which was presented by former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson, Vikki was recognized for her volunteer work cooking 12-hour shifts for the firefighters who fought the devastating Cerro Grande fire in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Vikki Nulman is also a Chef Member of the Chaine des Rotisseurs. Her accomplishments include designing and creating meals for numerous celebrated events on both coasts of the country - including banquets for the Governor and Lieutenant Governor of New Mexico and dinners at the renowned National Arts Club in New York City.
Her husband, Richard, is an advertising executive and her daughters, Stacey and Jillian, live and work in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
