Talli V. Counsel

Presidental Master Chef

 

Chef Talli, a native of Southern California, was introduced to the culinary profession as a young man by his parents, William and Jean Counsel, who were chefs and owners of Jean's Diner, The Original Bill's Chicken In The Bag To Go, and Gourmet Get Togethers Catering in Pasadena, California.  Two of the most popular eateries of that time.  Prior to his formal training at the culinary school of Olsen & Rogers, Chef Talli was fully trained in the art of high speed “spincookery" a term and process developed by his mother, Chef Jean Counsel.   

 

The cuisines created by Chef Talli have garnered rave reviews. His broad culinary imagination and expertise, coupled with his unswerving commitment to using only the finest and freshest products, and hand picked ingredients from only the top farmers and ranchers, have unleashed amazing American, International and fusion dishes, uniquely his own.

A few of his personally developed cuisines include: Italian Rainwater, European Crystal, Dr. Wooe's Chinese Hot Wok, and California, New Coastal Cuisine, Deep Gator Cajun Cuisine, and San Francisco Cable Cars & Crayons (extreme San Francisco flavors and colors), Italian Rainwater. Other palate-pleasers include Americana Rail Cuisines for his wine trains, and Blue Ice Fresh Seafood, not to mention an array of the finest desserts, such as his award winning White French Lemon Citronelle Cake and Paradise Macadamia Nut Cream Cake.

Chef Talli is consulting Presidential Master Chef for two former United Stated Presidents, and Chef Talli was Granted Master Chef status by the International Chef's Congress, and served as President in 1990.  Also, Chef Talli was the 2004-05 ICC Chairman. In addition, a Few of His awards include The Entrepreneur of the Year Award, University of Southern California, Success Magazine's American Entrepreneur Award, The IBM Chairman’s Success Award, and the Ely’s Winery Award for wine and food pairing.

His Client List Include, Redwood Creek Winery, Mercedes-Benz, The Mercedes-Benz Tennis Cup, University Of California, Universal Studios, Ford Motor Company, Lincoln-Mercury, The County Of Los Angeles, The Kaiser Corporation, The Hilton Corporation, J.W. Marriott, and The IBM Corporation.

This extraordinary multi-talented man continues to reinvent the culinary arts with every dining experience, and draws ecstatic praise from all that truly enjoy food.
Talli is Chef/Owner of the renowned Pash'e Culinary Group, which he opened in 1984. Chef Talli has continued to develop his business constellation with Gourmet Get Togethers Caterers, The Santa Barbara Wine Train t.m. and his most recent accomplishment, launching of the Paso Robles Wine & Rail and the Vineyard Gourmet Wine & Dine Motor Coaches t.m.  In late 2007.

Chef Talli is a contributing chef to the Food News on various radio networks. He has also appeared in Success Magazine, Westway's Magazine, Sisters N' Style, Café Society, Inside Entertainment, The Los Angeles Times, National Public Radio and Many Other National and International Publications.  Chef Talli is featured in The CRA Cookbook, California’s Top 50 Chefs (2006) Chef Talli’s culinary show, Culinary WorksLive! Will Broadcast Live via the internet in November 2007. Chef Talli Counsel is accredited by Bacons International.
