Paul has been featured in multiple publications, including Time Magazine, The New York Times, USA Today, The Chicago Tribune, The Miami Herald and Wine Spectator Magazine, and has made local, national, and international television appearances to speak on sake.
Paul has held several beverage industry positions at such wellknown restaurants as Hard Rock Café and L’Express. Before joining Vine Connections, Paul was Corporate Beverage Manager at the multi-unit Brazilian-Japanese restaurant group, Sushi Samba, where he oversaw the sake, wine, spirits and
cocktail programs in New York, Chicago, Miami, Dallas andTel Aviv.
Paul has pursued extensive study and training in the subtle nuances, processes and traditions of Japan’s national beverage and has traveled widely in Japan, visiting breweries and tasting his way around the country.
Paul lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife, Francine and daughter, Kaley. When not traveling the US evangelizing the joys of Japanese sake, he spends his free time in the kitchen, either cooking for his family or “cooking” up new cocktail creations. Wines!
