San Diego native Paris Driggers has spent more than two decades mastering the language of wine. Paris’ wine education began at an early age courtesy of his father, a partner in the renowned Del Mar restaurant, Remington’s. But it wasn’t until college, and a job at La Jolla’s famed George’s at the Cove, that Paris’ passion for wine blossomed.

This passion for wine led to Paris’ recruitment by Kendall-Jackson, where he underwent extensive training in winemaking, viniculture, and salesmanship. After spending a year managing Kendall-Jackson’s distribution for Southern California, Paris then moved on to become buyer and general manager for San Diego Wine Company.
Under Paris’ direction, San Diego Wine Company grew to become San Diego’s highest volume retail wine shop, and was considered one of the top 10 wine shops in the state of California. During his tenure, Paris completed his sommelier certification and competed in multiple California Wine Tasting Championships.
In 2005 Paris accepted a partnership with Bacchus Wine Market in downtown San Diego’s Gaslamp District, leading to several favorable reviews in the San Diego Reader, San Diego Union-Tribune, San Diego City Beat, and Toast magazine. In 2006 Paris ended the partnership to focus on conducting educational seminars and wine-tasting events, and brokering limited production boutique wines in Southern California.
