COOKING LIGHT TO BE NATIONAL MEDIA SPONSOR OF THE 6th ANNUAL SAN DIEGO BAY WINE & FOOD FESTIVAL

San Diego, CA (May 27, 2009) – The 6th Annual San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival, the largest wine and food extravaganza in Southern California, is pleased to announce Cooking Light as a National Media Sponsor. With asophisticated approach to food and wine, combined with upbeat coverage on everything from travel to health to beauty, Cooking Light is a perfect fit for the 2009 Festival, says Michelle Metter, the Festival’s co-producer. 

As the world’s largest food and healthy lifestyle magazine, Cooking Light serves up a unique recipe – making healthy food delicious, and attainable, for real women.  Cooking Light’s partnership in this year’s event will add to the overall content of the Festival’s list of weeklong food and wine activities. The 6th Annual San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival, held November 18-22, showcases a weeklong celebration the world’s premier wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities, and gourmet foods. The five-day festival features wine tasting seminars, cooking classes by award- winning chefs, and an elegant Reserve Tasting. The festival culminates on Saturday at the star-studded Grand Tasting Event complete with “Chef of the Fest” competition, celebrity cookbook signing tents, live entertainment and more.
