A 2002 Cum Laude graduate of the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale School of Culinary Arts, Warner worked as assistant chef under his culinary instructor and mentor andy trousdale, owner of Le Bistro in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, a former chef at Michelin starred restaurants in both France and Germany. early in his career, Warner was privileged to work at the Mobil Four Star and AAA diamond-rated Peninsula Grill at the Planters Inn, the internationally esteemed Relais & Chateaux Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina. his hotel culinary experience also includes the critically acclaimed Washington Inn and sister restaurant, the Pelican Club, in Cape May, New Jersey. coming to San Diego in 2005, Warner was appointed sous chef at the Kensington Grill, before joining jrdn as executive sous chef at Tower23 hotel early in 2007.
Now as executive chef, Warner continues the award winning tradition of JRDN ’s seasonal california fresh cuisine, with his own creative culinary interpretation. JRDN ’s menu features only the finest in select natural products, Meyer all natural beef from the nation’s leading certified humane Angus herd, and the freshest seafood available under the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s stringent seafood watch standards.
JRDN ’s Surf~Sky~Spirit is a 2007 Gold Medallion award recipient for “Best Hotel Restaurant - Fine Dining” from the California Restaurant Association, San Diego chapter.
