Originating in 1881, the Mighetto Winery introduced its first vintage in the early 1930’s and after three generations of family winemaking, was sold in the late 1950’s.
It’s no wonder that Brenda’s innate creativity and passion for fine wines led her to return to her Spanish rootstock. After exploring the many facets of the industry, Brenda made the decision in 2006 to immerse herself in the art and science of wine from terrior to texture. She gained viticulture experience and winemaking theory at St. Helena Winery, progressing naturally to creating her own wine and label, Vanite'.
Brenda’s hand-crafted premium wines, whether they are varietal-driven or blends, are introduced with a bouquet that entices the senses, bright notes of fruit, a lush, well-balanced structure, followed by a long, lingering finish.
When not making wine, Brenda can be found living every day of her life to the fullest - enjoying family, hiking, mountain biking, trekking, travel and adventuring. She loves the ocean and especially SCUBA diving.
