An Evening of Reserve Wines
From the art deco walls of San Diego's famous Air & Space Museum to the jumping jazz of the 30's and 40's and vintage aircraft at every turn, this year's Reserve & New Release Tasting event transports you to a gilded age where premium libations flow and legendary winemakers step into the spotlight.
Exciting silent auction items such as large format bottles, libraries, and decanters will take the spotlight this year with proceeds benefiting the American Institute of Wine & Food culinary arts scholarship programs.

Wine Spectator'sCelebrity Chef Luncheon & Big Bottle Auction will take place on November 20 during the weeklong San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival. The luncheon features 15 celebrity winemakers (or other high-profile winery representatives) and world-class menu prepared by a nationally acclaimed chefs. Guests will dine at tables of 11, each table featuring one winemaker pouring favorites from their portfolio. Menu and winery selection will be posted after September 15, 2011.
The luncheon kicks off in a spirited live auction and reception with jet-setting vacation packages, large format bottles, and one-of-a-kind items that are perfect for the serious wine and food enthusiast.
Proceeds from the event’s auctions benefit The American Institute of Wine & Food Culinary and Enology Scholarship program. Each year, thousands of dollars are awarded to professionals and students in San Diego to further their careers in culinary and enology arts. To date, over $170,000 has been awarded to deserving students from proceeds raised at auctions during the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival.
