This animated presentation will teach you the intricacies of distillation and how the unique properties of different spirits come about, including single malt scotch, bourbon, cognac, vodka and tequila. San Diego Wine & Culinary Center founder John Alongé will explain the differences among the world’s great spirits using an actual working still to demystify the process. A variety of distilled beverages will be sampled, including real home made moonshine!
