"TREAT DU JOUR" DAILY GOURMET DEALS & DISCOVERIES LAUNCHES TO CONNECT GOURMET BRANDS TO THOUSANDS OF CONSUMER ENTHUSIASTS
San Diego, CA (February 7, 2011) - Fast Forward Event Productions announces the launch of its new daily gourmet deals and discoveries website and newsletter, "Treat du Jour." Wine, spirits, gourmet food, culinary and travel enthusiasts will have access to a daily deal or discovery in which they can purchase, review, sample and be first "in the know" on a phenomenal variety of luxury goods and services, from hand crafted wines to unique gourmet foods, said Michelle Metter, partner at Fast Forward Event Productions.

Treat du Jour will work with previous and current exhibitors, sponsors and other participants from Fast Forward Event Productions' annual events by bringing consumers a daily deal or product discovery directly from the participating brands. Each day of the week, a new daily "treat" will be advertised on the website at www.treatdujour.com, and through an electronic newsletter to thousands of consumer contacts, as well as across social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter.
The featured deal or discovery will provide consumers with a printable voucher or coupon code on select opportunities which they can use to purchase that day's deal directly from the participating company or will spotlight a new product launch, opening or service. Unlike similar daily deal sites, no consumer sales are made through the Treat du Jour website, giving participating companies the ability to collect information from new customers while keeping all the profits.
"Treat du Jour provides an avenue for brands to market their new products or specials to an engaged audience for a one time nominal fee," added Metter. "Best of all, brands retain their profits and are not forced to deep discount their product offering.
