Paul Murphy Executive Chef at Humphry's Restaurant on Shelter Island Humphrey’s Restaurant on shelter Island is proud to feature Executive Chef Paul Murphy and his Modern Global Cuisine. Chef Paul Murphy began his career at the Rancho Bernardo Inn’s El Bizcocho Restaurant. After serving as a Sous Chef at the Temecula Creek Inn and Delicias Restaurant in Rancho Santa Fe, the Chef went to Europe where he completed an apprenticeship with Chef Paul Luc Meesan of the Restaurant de Fakkels in St. Truden, Belgium. This led to being Executive Chef at the West Side Bar & Grill, a French-American bistro in Pau, France. Upon returning to the United States, chef Murphy became Sous Chef at Wolfgang Puck’s Postrio on San Francisco and then Executive Sous Chef at the Ritz Carlton in Phoenix, Arizona. |
